Pit Vehicle & Off-Road Vehicle Policy

2025 Policy

To help improve the safety and mobility in our pit area, the PEI Truck and Tractor Pull Championships will continue with our Pit Vehicle Access Policy for 2025. This system was introduced in 2024 to reduce congestion and ensure pit lanes remain clear for tractors, trucks, staff, and emergency access.

Pit Vehicle Policy Overview

Each registered pulling team will be permitted:

The towing vehicle is expected to remain parked for the weekend and is not permitted to come and go during the event. Because of this, a vehicle pass is not required for the tow vehicle, as long as it stays parked in place.

If the towing vehicle will also be used as the personal vehicle for the weekend — meaning it will be coming and going from the pit area — then it must display the one vehicle pass allotted to that pulling unit.

Any personal vehicle that plans to come and go from the pit area must have a properly issued pit vehicle pass displayed in the windshield. Vehicles without a pass will not be allowed to remain in the pits.

All individuals arriving in pit vehicles must also be wearing a valid event bracelet, indicating they have paid admission for that day. Admission is required during event hours to gain entry — access will not be granted based on vehicle pass alone.

This rule is designed to ensure enough space for all pullers to safely move to and from the scales, dyno, and track area.

Overflow Parking Options

If you have more than one personal vehicle, please note that overflow vehicles must be parked in the designated general parking area located on the west side of the grounds.

We will provide a dedicated pit access gate in that area for pullers and pit pass holders, giving you easy and efficient access to the pits without going through the main gate.

Anyone accessing this new overflow pit gate must:

Access will not be granted otherwise.

Off-Road Support Vehicles

Pulling unit support vehicles such as ATVs, UTVs, or golf carts may only be used to assist with:

These vehicles are not to be used as personal or recreational transportation during event operations. To maintain safety:

Misuse of off-road vehicles may result in removal of vehicle privileges.

We welcome all competitors, fans, and their families to enjoy our event. Please be respectful of our crew, volunteers, fellow participants, and property. Unauthorized or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the grounds.

Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy the show!
